WELD

Welding, Brazing & Fabrication

Weldments, brazed and soldered assemblies and repairs built alongside the machine shop — so a fabricated part can be welded, then machined flat and to size without leaving the building.

Common questions

Welding, Brazing and Fabrication

Can you weld and then machine the same part?

Yes, and that is exactly why having both under one roof matters. Welding moves metal. Machining after welding is how a fabricated assembly ends up flat, square and on-size — and it means no shipping a weldment across town to get it faced off.

Do you braze and solder?

Constantly — it is a bigger share of our work than most machine shops. Brazed carbide, soldered copper and brass assemblies, repairs on parts that cannot be welded.

Do you take repair work on equipment you did not build?

Constantly. Bring in the broken part. If it can be welded and machined back into service we will tell you; if it needs to be remade from stock we will tell you that too.

A dimensioned drawing — the tolerances live there — and the STEP model if the part has any complexity. Tell us the quantity — per release and per year if it repeats — the material and when you need it. Production program? Say so and we quote at volume. Urgent job? Call after you submit.
